We're seeking a hands-on VMware specialist to lead a focused vulnerability remediation programme across a complex on-prem estate. This is not BAU support. This is about clearing a vulnerability backlog, hardening the platform, and materially reducing security risk.
You'll take ownership of identifying, assessing, and remediating critical vulnerabilities across vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter, driving patching, upgrades, and configuration hardening through to completion.
Key Focus:- Validate and triage vulnerability scan findings
- Execute ESXi patching and vCenter upgrades
- Apply security hardening across hosts and clusters
- Reduce critical and high-risk exposure within SLA
- Drive remediation activity across infrastructure and security teams
- Strong enterprise VMware experience (ESXi, vCenter, vSphere)
- Proven delivery of vulnerability remediation programmes
- Deep knowledge of lifecycle management and platform hardening
- Confident, delivery-focused contractor mindset
