Base pay range Direct message the job poster from Henderson Scott Trusts & Probate Solicitor – 3+ PQE Chichester Salary depending upon experience We are currently working with a well-regarded firm seeking a Trusts and Probate Solicitor to join their Private Client department. This is a key role within an experienced team, offering a broad and interesting caseload with opportunities for ongoing development. The Role You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of private client matters, with a focus on: Probate and estate administration, including both non-taxable and complex taxable estates (IHT400 and associated schedules). Intestate estates, requiring a thorough understanding of intestacy rules. Trust work, including the creation and administration of life interest and discretionary trusts, and advising on their tax implications. Providing clear, practical advice to clients, often including older individuals and high-net-worth clients. Candidate Profile The successful applicant will: Be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years\’ PQE in probate and trusts. Have strong technical knowledge and a client-focused approach. Be comfortable working independently, while also contributing to a supportive and collaborative team environment. Possess strong organisational and communication skills. STEP membership (or a willingness to work towards it) is desirable but not essential.
