We are currently seeking a Test Engineer / Systems Test Technician to support testing and troubleshooting activities within a secure engineering environment in Portsmouth. This role involves working on system and subsystem testing, fault investigation, quality inspection, and test documentation within a highly regulated technical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Install and configure test equipment
- Execute system and subsystem testing activities
- Perform initial fault-finding and troubleshooting
- Conduct first-level quality inspections
- Prepare test reports and associated documentation
- Support sensor calibration and test facility preparation
- Track and support issue resolution through to closure
- Experience within systems testing, electronics testing, or RF testing environments
- Familiarity with RF test equipment including:
- Spectrum Analysers
- RF Simulators
Candidates must either: Hold active SC Clearance, or Be a British National eligible to undergo SC Clearance. Due to the nature of the project, all work is fully onsite and subject to additional vetting checks.
