We are partnering with a government client who is looking for an experienced Resource Manager / People Development Manager to join a busy team. Due to the nature of the client and the urgency of the role, candidates will ideally hold sole British Nationality and active SC clearance.

As People Development Manager, you will lead defined workstreams that support people capability across P3M, from early careers to established professionals. The role exists to design, coordinate and improve how the function develops its people, based on clear frameworks, data and stakeholder input. You will also manage and coach a local team to deliver against agreed objectives and realise the benefits of the wider people capability strategy.

I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Experience managing people development, talent, learning or similar workstreams in a project, programme or portfolio environment.
  • Background in recruitment and resource management, including day-to-day deployment of people across projects or programmes.
  • Awareness of P3M disciplines and how people capability supports delivery across projects and programmes.
  • Ability to work with a range of stakeholders and external partners, including professional bodies and industry contacts.
