An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Operations & Information Systems Manager to join a leading healthcare organisation. This role will oversee IT Operations, Service Delivery, Infrastructure, Supplier Management, Operational Projects and Cyber Security collaboration across a complex outsourced technology environment.

The successful candidate will manage four direct reports, including:

  • 2 x Innovation & Adoption Leads
  • Information Systems Lead
  • On-Site Engineer
  • Cyber Security Analyst

  • Microsoft 365
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Conditional Access
  • Networking (LAN, WAN, VPN)
  • DNS, DHCP & Firewalls
  • Cyber Security Operations
  • ITIL Service Management

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day IT Operations and Service Delivery
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Managed Service Providers and technology suppliers
  • Manage operational infrastructure and service improvement projects
  • Drive service improvements, operational governance and supplier performance
  • Coordinate major incidents, change management and operational resilience activities
  • Support cyber security, compliance and operational risk management
  • Lead and develop a small internal technology team

Required Experience

  • Proven experience leading IT Operations, Infrastructure or Service Delivery teams
  • Strong MSP and supplier management experience
  • Strong understanding of Azure Entra ID and Identity Management
  • Good networking knowledge including DNS, DHCP, VPNs and Firewalls
  • Experience delivering infrastructure or operational technology projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Previous people management experience

Desirable Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft Identity & Access Administrator (SC-300)
  • Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+
  • PRINCE2 or Agile Certification
  • CISSP, CISM or equivalent security certification
