An established legal team is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join its Corporate Employment department. The team is renowned for providing high-quality advice on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters to a diverse range of clients, including senior executives, entrepreneurs, investment professionals, and private business owners across sectors like financial services, technology, sports, and family offices. This role will be instrumental in expanding the Employment practice and enhancing its market presence.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of employment law matters with a focus on client-facing, strategic, and pragmatic solutions.
- Managing cases autonomously with support as needed.
- Drafting and negotiating a range of employment documents, including service agreements and settlement agreements.
- Providing risk-based, commercial employment advice on issues like employment contracts, grievances, dismissals, High Court and tribunal disputes, TUPE, redundancy, and more.
- Collaborating with international legal teams on multi-jurisdictional matters.
- Leading business development initiatives to grow the Employment practice.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 6 years of relevant PQE.
- Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- Strong client management skills and the ability to provide practical, commercial advice.
- Excellent drafting skills and the ability to handle multiple files efficiently.
