Security Advisor - Built Assets - Government Facilities - Wiltshire - SC Clearance - 12 month contract I am looking for an experienced Security Advisor to provide specialist security engineering advice for high-risk and sensitive government facilities in Wiltshire.

Due to the urgency and nature of the role, ideal candidates will hold active SC Clearance.

You will embed robust physical, technical, and operational security measures into new and existing buildings, ensuring they meet legislative, standards-based, and organisational security requirements.

You'll be a senior voice in multidisciplinary project teams, influencing design and delivery decisions for some of the most sensitive environments in the country.

I am keen to speak with candidates who have Significant experience as a Security Engineer, Security Specialist, or Security Advisor within the built environment.

Background supporting highly secure, regulated, or high-containment facilities.

Strong understanding of physical, technical, and operational security design principles.

Experience conducting security risk assessments, threat analyses, and security assurance activities.

Demonstrable knowledge of Schedule 5 of the Anti-Terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001.

Demonstrable knowledge of ISO 19650-5:2020 and ISO 23234:2021 in relation to security and BIM/built assets.

Knowledge of the NPSA Surreptitious Threat Mitigation Process and its practical application.

Ability to explain complex security requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, supporting sound decisions in high-consequence environments.

Membership of the Register of Security Engineers and Specialists (RSES), with expertise in Protection Against Forced Entry and/or Hostile Vehicle Mitigation.

Relevant professional qualifications in security engineering, protective security, risk management, engineering, or a related field.
