What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading NPI manufacturing activities and working closely with Design and Producibility experts
  • Developing manufacturing architecture, MIT plans, and validation strategies
  • Creating and approving test and manufacturing instructions
  • Driving process FMEAs and capability improvements
  • Managing and mentoring a small team of engineers
  • Collaborating across functions to deliver bid packages, resolve technical issues, and ensure effective manufacturing solutions
  • Supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives and cross-site collaboration
  • Potential for some UK and overseas travel

What we’re looking for:

  • A background in Manufacturing Engineering with experience in NPI
  • A formal technical apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21) with HNC/HND or equivalent OR a BEng in a relevant Engineering field
  • Strong team leadership, problem-solving and report writing skills
  • Comfortable working independently with a proactive mindset
