Are you a talented Power App Developer looking to bring real value to high-impact digital services within government? I am looking for a skilled developer with a strong grasp of the Microsoft Power Platform to help us shape user-friendly, robust applications that meet the needs of our public sector clients. Due to the urgency and nature of the role, candidates with active SC clearance would be preferred.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Designing, building, and refining custom applications using Canvas and Power Apps.
  • Working closely with business and technical stakeholders to define and deliver practical solutions.
  • Contributing to Agile project delivery through regular sprint cycles and planning sessions.
  • Ensuring all deliverables adhere to GDS (Government Digital Service) standards and best practices.
  • Supporting seamless integration between new applications and existing data systems.
  • Maintaining clear and useful technical documentation to support knowledge sharing across the team.

I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • A solid track record of hands-on experience creating Power Apps, especially Canvas-based solutions, ideally within the public sector.
  • Strong development skills within the Microsoft Power Platform environment.
  • Confidence working within Agile teams, with a good understanding of delivery principles aligned with GDS.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with Power Automate, Dataverse, and other Microsoft 365 tools would be an advantage.
  • Awareness of secure coding techniques and best practices for handling data responsibly would also be nice to have.
