An established and highly regarded national law firm is seeking a talented and compassionate Catastrophic Injury Lawyer to join its leading Serious Injury team based in London.
This is an exceptional opportunity to manage a high-quality caseload of 20–25 complex, life-changing injury claims, primarily involving amputation and spinal cord injuries. You’ll be joining a team known for its expert handling of high-value litigation and commitment to securing the best possible outcomes for its clients.
The Role
- Run your own caseload of serious and catastrophic injury claims, often involving multi-million-pound damages
- Investigate complex liability issues and quantum in cases involving spinal injuries, amputations, and other severe trauma
- Work alongside top-tier medical experts, barristers, and rehabilitation professionals
- Provide high levels of client care, supporting individuals and families through challenging times
- Collaborate with internal multi-disciplinary teams including public law, Court of Protection, and clinical negligence
- Engage in team knowledge sharing and mentoring junior colleagues
About You
- 3+ years’ PQE, ideally in claimant personal injury law, with significant experience in catastrophic or serious injury claims
- Strong technical expertise in amputation and/or spinal cord injury litigation
- Compassionate and client-focused approach
- Confident managing complex, high-value claims autonomously
- Solid litigation and case strategy skills; experience with High Court litigation desirable
- Motivated, collaborative, and committed to excellence
