I have an immediate opportunity for a Risk Assessor / Risk Advisory Consultant to join a high-profile Cyber Security Programme for our government client in Glasgow. This role is ideal for someone who excels at identifying and analysing complex security and technology risks, translating findings into clear, actionable risk assessments, and working closely with stakeholders across technical and business teams.
Due to the urgency and nature of the role, ideal candidates will be sole British Nationals with active SC clearance.

- A background in risk assessment and advisory role
- Experience of working onCyber Security, large Technology programmes within the public sector would be ideal.
- Ability to identify, analyse, and document complex business and technology risks.
- Experience producing high-quality risk assessments and recommendations.
- Proven stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of security governance, risk frameworks, policies, standards, and controls.
- Ability to communicate technical risks clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Visio, Atlassian Jira / Confluence and standard Microsoft Office applications, and a broad understanding of common enterprise IT technologies and their associated security risks. xiskglj
