A highly regarded regional law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its busy and expanding team in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and skilled professional to advance their career, working alongside a supportive team in a firm committed to delivering exceptional client service.
The successful candidate will work closely with a Partner while independently managing a caseload of private client matters. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in a growing team identified as a strategic focus area.
Responsibilities- Advising on wills, tax planning, probate, and estate administration.
- Handling trust creation and administration, as well as Court of Protection work.
- Supervising and supporting junior team members.
- Engaging in business development and marketing to support team growth.
- Delivering a consistently high level of client service and maintaining compliance with professional standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified solicitor status or equivalent professional qualification with 5+ years PQE.
- Strong expertise in wills, trusts, probate, estate administration, and tax planning.
- Experience in managing and supervising team members.
- Competence with IT applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and case management systems.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work to deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- A team-oriented approach with a supportive attitude toward colleagues.
