I am looking for a Service Management Analyst to join a busy team with our central government client. They are looking for someone to join their Service Catalogue team to manage and maintain the IT Service Catalogue so it accurately reflects the products and services available to users. Due to the nature of the team and the work involved, candidates who hold active SC clearance will be preferred. Flexibility to work hybrid with 2-3 days onsite is also expected.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain the IT service catalogue so that services, products and related data artefacts remain accurate and up to date.
  • Document services with clear descriptions, service levels and associated costs where applicable.
  • Provide information on available offerings, including expected lead times for fulfilment.
  • Work with IT teams, service owners and business units to gather and validate service information.
  • Ensure catalogue content aligns with the organisation's IT strategy and business needs.
  • Support improvements in service delivery and customer experience through better service information.

What we’re looking for:

  • Awareness of different products and services and how they are presented to users.
  • Ability to identify and engage users or stakeholders to gather evidence of user needs.
  • Experience shaping and defining research activity that fits user needs.
  • Ability to use quantitative and qualitative user data to drive outcomes.
  • Comfortable working independently, sharing information and assisting others with service requests.

Desirable: ITIL Foundation qualification, or willingness to achieve it within the probation period.
