An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified to 2 years' PQE solicitor to join a leading London-based Medical Negligence team renowned for its expertise in complex, high-value claims. This highly respected team is known for acting exclusively on behalf of claimants in life-changing cases, with a strong focus on matters involving brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and birth injuries, among others.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative and specialist team working at the forefront of clinical negligence litigation. The work is challenging, varied, and rewarding - offering the chance to contribute to some of the most significant and sensitive cases in the field.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting senior lawyers on complex, high-value clinical negligence claims
- Managing a small caseload under supervision, with increasing responsibility over time
- Drafting legal documents, letters of instruction, witness statements, and schedules of loss
- Liaising with medical experts, counsel, and other third parties
- Attending client meetings and case conferences
- Conducting legal research and staying current with relevant case law and procedural developments
- Qualified solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) in England & Wales
- Strong academic background and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable commitment to claimant medical negligence work
