The Opportunity
An established and growing law firm is seeking an ambitious Commercial & Residential Property Solicitor (3-10 PQE) to join its Manchester office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property lawyer looking to further develop their career within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. The firm is particularly interested in individuals who can combine strong technical expertise with proven business development capabilities and an established network of clients and introducers. The successful candidate will play a key role in handling a diverse range of commercial and residential property matters while contributing to the continued growth and success of the property team.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Advising developers, investors, landlords, business owners and private clients.
- Handling acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, refinancing, development work and high-value residential transactions.
- Developing and maintaining strong client and professional relationships.
- Identifying opportunities for new business generation and cross-referral work.
- Contributing to the strategic growth of the property department.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate.
- Attending networking and business development events to enhance the firm's profile.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with 3-10 years' PQE.
- Demonstrable experience in business development and relationship management.
- A substantial and transferable client following, referral network, or established source of work is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial awareness and entrepreneurial mindset.
