A well-established, multi-office law firm with a strong presence in South West London and Surrey is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join its growing Property department. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor, legal executive, or licensed conveyancer with a minimum of five years' residential conveyancing experience to take on a senior role within a reputable and supportive legal practice.
The Role
The successful candidate will handle a full and varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to post-completion. The position also involves mentoring junior team members, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to the overall performance and development of the team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing residential property files independently, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, and new builds
- Advising clients with professionalism and clarity
- Ensuring all work is compliant with regulatory and internal quality standards
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with referrers and third parties
- Identifying opportunities for departmental development and growth
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
