- A well-established Central London law firm is seeking a talented
Solicitor or Associate Solicitor to join its growing Litigation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer with up to four years' post-qualification experience to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, work closely with experienced colleagues, and play an active role in the continued growth and success of the department.
The Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a varied range of contentious matters, providing practical and strategic advice to clients while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
Key responsibilities include
• Managing a broad caseload of litigation matters, including
- Commercial disputes
- Property litigation
- Insolvency matters
- Contractual disputes
- General civil litigation
- Advising and representing clients throughout the lifecycle of disputes.
- Conducting advocacy where appropriate and instructing Counsel.
- Supporting and supervising trainees and paralegals.
- Assisting senior lawyers with mentoring, quality assurance, and workflow management.
- Maintaining excellent client care and compliant file management practices.
- Managing financial aspects of matters, including estimates, billing, WIP management, and debt recovery.
- Supporting business development initiatives and developing client relationships.
- Contributing to departmental planning, precedent development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm.
- Producing legal updates, articles, and case notes for publication.
About You
Applicants should be enthusiastic, commercially aware, and committed to delivering exceptional client service.
You will have
- Qualified Solicitor status in England & Wales.
- Between NQ and 4 years' PQE gained within a litigation practice.
- Experience managing a range of contentious matters with appropriate supervision.
- Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and the SRA regulatory framework.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and client management.
- Confidence in building professional relationships and contributing to business development activities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using legal case management systems.
