Junior Data Engineer to join a well-established organisation with a modern Microsoft Azure data platform. \n This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in Data Engineering, working alongside experienced professionals on the development and support of enterprise data solutions. \n The role is predominantly remote, requiring just

1-2 days per month onsite in Coventry , and offers the potential to become a permanent position following the initial contract. Key Responsibilities\n \n \n \n

  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Microsoft Azure technologies. \n
  • Support the delivery and maintenance of a central Azure data platform. \n
  • Design and develop SQL database solutions. \n
  • Build and enhance data warehouse solutions and data models. \n
  • Work with Azure Dev Ops for source control and deployment. \n
  • Support testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance of data solutions. \n
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, BI teams and Data Engineers to understand reporting requirements. \n
  • Produce technical documentation and support best practice across the Data Engineering function. \n \n \n Essential Skills\n \n \n \n
  • Commercial experience as a Data Engineer, Junior Data Engineer, ETL Developer or SQL Developer. \n
  • Strong SQL/T-SQL skills. \n
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF). \n
  • Azure Synapse experience. \n
  • ETL development experience (SSIS experience also considered). \n
  • Data Warehousing experience. \n
  • Knowledge of Fact and Dimension modelling. \n
  • Azure Dev Ops exposure. \n
  • Excellent communication skills. \n \n \n Desirable\n \n \n \n

  • Data Vault methodology. \n
