Group Category Manager – Digital Procurement

Experience needed

Strong background in technology procurement across categories such as Software, Networks & Telecoms, Cyber, AI/HPC, Hardware, IT Services or Data Centres. Experience at Category Management level or operating in an international procurement environment is highly desirable. MCIPS qualification is also preferred.

About the role

We are growing our Digital Procurement function and are hiring two Group Category Managers to support our expanding digital landscape. You will help shape procurement strategy across key technology categories and work closely with stakeholders to develop effective, forward-looking plans. This role offers the chance to operate internationally, contribute to a supportive team culture, and develop your career within a dynamic and evolving environment.

What we need from you

• Proven experience as a Technology Procurement Practitioner at Category Management level
• In one or more of the following areas: Software / Networks & Telecoms / Cyber / AI and/or High-Performance Computing / Hardware / Data Centres & Storage / Back Office or Front Office or IT Services
• Ability to operate strategically, developing market insight, building robust category plans, identifying risks and opportunities, and influencing decisions at Group level
• Experience in creating short, medium and long-term procurement strategies
• Confidence in mentoring and guiding Buyers to deliver complex procurement projects
• Comfortable collaborating across international, multicultural environments
• MCIPS qualification, or willingness to work towards it
