Lead Platform Engineer – Hampshire (Hybrid) – £70K + 10% Bonus An industry leading UK business currently seeking a Lead Platform Engineer crucial in supporting technological direction and nurturing a high-performing team. As Lead Platform Engineer you be responsible for deploying, configuring, and operating IT Infrastructure platforms. Responsibilities include: Investigate & manage the adoption of tools, techniques, and processes (including automation) for the management of systems and services. Lead, guide & mentor a team of engineers acting as an escalation point for colleagues across the Tech department. Ensure that operational procedures and documentation are fit for purpose and kept up to date. Ensuring that operational issues are identified, recorded, monitored, & resolved! Requirements: Experience with automation platforms, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet or Chef. Experience of Cloud technologies – AWS/Azure/GCP. Worked extensively with Kubernetes Experienced within Agile ways of working, Kanban and Scrum. Experience of Vmware vSphere, Nutanix or Hyper V virtualisation platforms.
