In this hands-on individual contributor role, you will:
- Be responsible for the full development lifecycle of a project from design to release in production and post-release supportability.
- Design solutions that align technology roadmaps to business strategy and conduct high-quality functional design, system, integration testing, and UAT.
- Work closely with Production Management to deliver a stable and reliable platform under all necessary controls.
We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:
- Strong core Java technical skills, be an advocate of test-driven development, and be experienced in delivery automation.
- Experience with K8s, Docker, Kafka, DataStream technology, SQL, and message-driven solutions would also be beneficial.
- Experience using the agile methodology to deliver software solutions and familiarity with Jira system, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a global diverse development team, helping others through pair programming and knowledge sharing, and helping the team improve their development practices.
- A can-do attitude, able to partner with others inside and outside of the development team to investigate issues, drive conversations to find and agree on solutions, and communicate those solutions to a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Ability to partner with business, operations, developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to help shape the future platform.
- Knowledge of different financial products - CIB/Equities experience would be highly desirable.
