We are looking for a Frontend-heavy Full Stack Developer to join a long-term digital transformation programme. This is a high-impact role within a complex, state-driven environment, perfect for a React expert who is comfortable dipping into the Java backend when required.
The Technical Balance
- React (80%): You will lead on the frontend, building high-performance, accessible (GDS-aligned) user interfaces and complex dashboards.
- Java (20%): You will manage backend integrations, primarily using Spring Boot to connect the UI to core services.
Key Skills
- Expert React JS: Deep knowledge of TypeScript, state management (Redux/Context), and consuming REST APIs.
- Java / Spring Boot: Sufficient experience to maintain and extend backend services and microservices.
- Workflows (Desired): Any experience with Camunda or other BPMN orchestration engines is highly advantageous but not essential.
- Active SC Clearance: You must hold current, transferable SC clearance to be considered for this role.
