Responsibilities
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid‑level employment lawyer to join a busy and broad‑based practice advising both employers and senior executives on a wide range of contentious and non‑contentious matters.
The successful candidate can expect to be involved in
- Day‑to‑day HR and employment law advisory work.
- Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, service agreements and consultancy arrangements.
- Advising on disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance management issues.
- Managing redundancy, restructuring and workforce change projects.
- Providing strategic advice on employee exits, settlement agreements and restrictive covenants.
- Employment aspects of corporate transactions, including TUPE support on acquisitions and disposals.
- Employment Tribunal claims covering unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract matters.
- Drafting policies, procedures and employee handbooks.
- Supporting business development initiatives and developing trusted adviser relationships with clients.
The role offers significant client exposure from day one and the opportunity to work closely with partners on complex and commercially sensitive matters.
