Dynamics Business Central Consultant in Edinburgh

Dynamics Business Central – Implementation – 10 month contract (inside IR35) – Edinburgh (3 days onsite)

I am looking for an experienced Business Central Consultant to join an ongoing ERP implementation with our client based in Central Edinburgh.

This role plays a critical part in the ongoing implementation and support of Business Central across their business, focusing on delivering expert-level functional consulting and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support end-to-end implementation activities for Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Provide expert advice and hands-on support across Business Central modules, with a focus on Finance, Sales, and Procurement.
• Work closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure delivery is aligned with business needs and quality standards.
• Support the development and maintenance of robust data models and ensure adherence to security and access control requirements.
• Act as a key contact for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and ongoing user support within the Business Central environment.
• Assist with system configuration, user training, testing, and go-live readiness.

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
• Solid understanding of business processes across Finance, Sales, and Procurement functions.
• Working knowledge of data modelling and security requirements within ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Able to work onsite in central Edinburgh 3 days per week.
