Director of Infrastructure – Hampshire – Excellent Salary + Benefits!

We're seeking a visionary Director of Infrastructure to lead the strategy, operations, and future development of enterprise technology infrastructure. This is a senior leadership role that plays a critical part in enabling business transformation through secure, scalable, and high-performing technology environments.

About the Role

As Director of Infrastructure, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end performance, security, and reliability of the organisation's infrastructure – including data centres, networks, cloud platforms, and associated systems. You'll drive forward infrastructure strategy, ensure operational excellence, and enable the business to scale through innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development & execution of infrastructure strategies and multi-year roadmaps.

  • Ensure high availability and resilience of all technology infrastructure, with proactive monitoring and early-warning systems.

  • Oversee critical infrastructure platforms including O365, Cloud environments, data networks, and server/storage operations.

  • Develop, lead, and grow high-performing infrastructure teams and service management functions.

  • Own incident response processes and serve as the escalation lead for Priority 1 and 2 infrastructure incidents.

  • Create and maintain service level agreements (SLAs), service catalogues, and continuous improvement frameworks.

  • Manage non-production environments and test strategies to support business change.

  • Deliver robust financial management, including capital planning and return on investment for infrastructure initiatives.

  • Drive forward operational governance, compliance, and business continuity practices.

  • Degree in a relevant field such as Business Management or Computer Science.
