Are you an experienced Database consultant with strong skills in automation and managing containerised database environments? I have an immediate opportunity on a 12-month contract for a large corporate client in central Glasgow.
You'll play a key part in the implementation and configuration of their database services, including some newSQL solutions. The work is hands-on and technical, supporting the delivery of high-performance platforms for global use.
I am therefore looking for candidates who have:
- Previous experience working as a Database Engineer designing, building and maintaining scalable data platforms for corporate clients.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Postgres database experience.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Excellent Linux systems skills.
- Familiarity with database security and performance monitoring.
- Understanding of automated deployment and infrastructure tools.
