Experience needed: We're seeking an experienced Customs or Trade Compliance professional with deep expertise in tariff classification, customs valuation, and country of origin rules. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on data integrity, process improvement, and ensuring regulatory compliance across complex systems.

About the role: This is a key role within a high-compliance environment, focused on ensuring the accuracy and consistency of customs master data across the business. You'll lead initiatives to review, cleanse, and maintain customs-critical data sets, while supporting the integration of this data into SAP systems. Your work will directly impact the quality and compliance of customs entries and licensing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, validate, and maintain customs master data in line with current HMRC regulations
  • Ensure accurate tariff classification, country of origin, and customs valuation records
  • Support data requirements for SAP GTS and assist in master data migration projects
  • Develop and embed standard operating procedures for customs data governance
  • Design systems for storing and managing supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with project teams to classify new products and support licensing accuracy
  • Provide training and guidance to the Customs Operations team on master data standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in customs systems, controls, and practices
