A prestigious US law firm in the City of London is seeking a talented and driven Construction Disputes Associate with 2+ years' post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded disputes practice. The firm is known globally for its elite client base, complex cross-border mandates, and collaborative, partner-led culture.
This is an opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and high-profile construction and engineering disputes in the market, involving major infrastructure and energy projects across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities- Acting on international arbitrations (ICC, LCIA, ad hoc), High Court litigation, and adjudications
- Advising on complex construction and engineering contracts, including FIDIC, NEC, and JCT forms
- Supporting clients through all stages of dispute resolution and strategic risk management
- Collaborating with colleagues across international offices on cross-border matters
- Engaging with a diverse client base, including global contractors, developers, and public sector entities
- 2+ years of post-qualification experience in construction disputes from a top-tier practice
- A strong academic background and high-quality training
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and client management skills
- Confidence handling complex matters independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, commercially minded approach and interest in international work
