Private Client Solicitor in Canterbury

Location: Canterbury
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Working pattern: Full-time | Hybrid working (3 days in / 2 days remote)

The Role

Private Client / Private Wealth Solicitor (3-6 PQE)

You will work on a varied and technically interesting caseload, including:

• Creation of domestic and offshore trusts
• Asset protection advice, including matters relating to care home fees, divorce and bankruptcy
• Declarations of Trust for jointly owned property in unequal shares
• Lasting Powers of Attorney and mental capacity issues
• UK and international tax planning
• UK and international inheritance issues
• Preparation of Wills for UK-based and international clients
• Estate-related tax advice and post-death tax planning
• Administration of estates with assets across multiple jurisdictions, including matters involving conflicts of law

You will work closely with experienced colleagues on complex matters, while managing your own files and developing long-term client relationships.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 3-6 years\’ PQE in Private Client / Private Wealth
• Strong interest in complex and international private client work
• Comfortable managing files independently with appropriate supervision
• Commercially aware with a client-focused, detail-driven approach
• Willing to work across Canterbury and/or London, with flexibility
• Organised, proactive and keen to develop technically
