A highly regarded and growing firm is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to take a leading role within its Bournemouth office. This is a standout opportunity for a confident and commercially minded lawyer to operate as the key Family specialist on-site, with real autonomy to shape and grow the department locally.

Experience: 5+ PQE

Contract: Permanent, Full-time (Hybrid)

Full Remuneration Package: £55,000-£75,000 DOE

The Role

You will handle a broad range of private family matters, including:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial remedies
  • Private children matters
  • General matrimonial work

Additionally, you will:

  • Run your own caseload independently
  • Undertake advocacy where appropriate
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers
  • Actively network and generate new business
  • Play a key role in growing the firm's Family presence in Bournemouth

About You

  • 5+ PQE in Family Law
  • Confident working independently and managing a full caseload
  • Strong technical ability across matrimonial and children matters
  • Commercially minded with a passion for business development
  • Ideally able to bring or build a client/referrer following
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills
  • Proactive, driven, and relationship-focused
  • Family mediation experience is advantageous but not essential.
