I am looking for a Software Engineer to shape and support a suite of .NET, MS Access and SQL Server applications that underpin services for a public sector client. You'll work across both server and desktop environments, owning development and support tasks from investigation through to delivery.

Due to the nature and urgency of the role, candidates will ideally hold active SC clearance.

What I am looking for:

  • Strong experience in .NET development across web and desktop (WinForms).
  • Solid background with SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures and user-defined functions.
  • Advanced MS Access experience, including VBA for complex solutions.
  • Proficiency in C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net and related Microsoft stack technologies.
  • Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL.
  • Knowledge of MS Office integration (Word, Excel, Outlook) within applications.
  • Familiarity with web and data formats such as HTML, JSON, XML, XPath and XSLT.
  • Experience working with IIS, Windows Services and production troubleshooting.
