Overview: We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to join a key programme. This role focuses on maintaining legacy infrastructure, L3 problem resolution, and service documentation while transitioning towards modern DevOps practices and CI/CD automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L3 support and problem resolution for legacy applications.
- Maintain/update service documentation and perform peer reviews.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage Oracle 11 environments (RAC, RMAN) and Solaris 10 platforms.
Technical Skills:
- Systems: Oracle Solaris 10, RHEL 8, Windows Server 2k8/2k16/2k19.
- Infrastructure: VMWare ESX v6, Nginx, Apache Tomcat, Elasticsearch.
- Automation: Bash scripting, CI/CD pipelines.
Desirable: Java SE 8, Python, Ansible, Terraform, AWS, IBM Initiate, GIS tools.
