Associate / Senior Associate - Land & Property Lawyer

Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Full Remuneration Package: £55,000-£80,000 DOE
A well-established and highly regarded regional firm is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate Land & Property Lawyer (Solicitor or Legal Executive) to join its team in Crewkerne.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of a growing property team, handling a varied caseload with a strong residential focus, while benefiting from excellent support and clear progression opportunities.
The Role
You will manage a broad caseload of property matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- General residential conveyancing matters
- Land transactions and associated work
- Matters from instruction through to post-completion
You will also:
- Work towards billing and time recording targets
- Support and mentor junior lawyers and support staff
- Play an active role in business development and networking
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the department
At Senior Associate level, there is increased scope for leadership, mentoring and strategic input.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 5+ PQE
- Strong experience in residential property and land law
- Confident managing a full caseload independently
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members (particularly at Senior Associate level)
- Commercially aware with an interest in business development
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proactive, reliable and able to meet deadlines
