A Legal 500-ranked residential property team is seeking an experienced Residential Property Associate/Senior Associate to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded London property practice with a strong reputation in the residential market.
The successful candidate will have strong experience handling a broad range of residential property matters and advising a diverse HNW client base including investors, developers, landlords and tenants. A following of clients or referrers would be advantageous, but is not essential.
The Role
- Managing a varied residential property caseload including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- New leases
- Refinancing matters
- Transfers and related transactions
- Providing strategic and practical advice to clients
- Building and maintaining relationships with local agents and referrers
- Working closely with partners to support the continued growth of the Islington property team
- Supporting business development and marketing initiatives, including networking events and contributing to newsletters and legal updates
- Delivering consistently high levels of client service
- Supervising and supporting trainees and paralegals within the team
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years of post qualification residential property experience
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Commercially minded and proactive approach
- Interest in contributing to the growth and development of the team
