The Role
- You will take ownership of a broad private client caseload, including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Trust creation and administration
- Tax and succession planning
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Court of Protection matters
- Elderly client work
- Multi-generational wealth preservation and succession planning
Alongside fee-earning responsibilities, you will:
- Advise on complex and high-value private client matters
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
- Support the ongoing growth and development of the department
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional referrers
- Contribute to business development and networking initiatives
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
- 8+ years PQE within Private Client law
- Strong experience across wills, probate, trusts, estate planning and tax planning
- Comfortable managing complex matters independently
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Commercially aware with an interest in business development
- STEP qualified or working towards STEP would be advantageous
