I'm working with a well-established London law firm seeking a Residential Property Solicitor (5-7 PQE) to join its residential property team as part of its continued growth. This opportunity will particularly suit a solicitor who has trained and developed within an established, high-quality firm and is now looking for their next step - offering greater responsibility, clear progression, and the chance to play a visible role in a growing practice.

The successful candidate will manage a varied, high-quality caseload, work closely with high-profile clients, and contribute meaningfully to the ongoing success of a well-respected residential property team. The firm has ambitious plans to grow over the next few years, and this hire will be an important part of that journey.

The Role

  • Manage a diverse caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Advise clients on sales, purchases, remortgages, and related residential property matters
  • Ensure full compliance with SRA and CQS requirements, maintaining the highest standards of quality and client care
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong client and referrer relationships
  • Take an active and visible role in business development, including networking, attending events, and supporting the firm's growth initiatives

About You

  • Solid experience in residential property law (ideally 5+ years' PQE)
  • Experience gained within a reputable, well-regarded law firm, and a clear desire to progress
  • Confidence and enthusiasm for business development and being active in the community
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong client-facing communication skills
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines in a busy environment
  • Strong IT and case management skills
  • A proactive, commercial, and collaborative approach
