An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor to join a growing and well-established Family team in Oxford. This role offers the chance to work on high-quality family law matters within a supportive, collaborative environment, with clear scope for long-term career development. The team is expanding and is keen to speak with enthusiastic solicitors who are committed to delivering outstanding client service and developing their expertise in family law.
The Role
You will join the Oxford-based Family team, advising on a broad range of family law matters and supporting colleagues across the wider national Family and Children practice where required. Initially, the role will involve working closely with senior team members on a variety of cases. Over time, you will develop responsibility for your own caseload, with a particular focus on financial remedy and children-related matters.
About You
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in family law
- Experience gained within a large regional, City, or specialist family practice
- Strong drafting skills with excellent written English
- Confident in building relationships with clients, referrers and professional contacts
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to work collaboratively on complex matters
- Highly organised with excellent time and document management skills
- Strong research skills and confidence using online legal resources
- Comfortable using modern legal technology and IT systems
The Team
You will work closely with experienced partners and a supportive team of family law specialists. You will also collaborate with colleagues across the national Family and Children team and benefit from the support of a dedicated Professional Support Lawyer.
