An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified to 2 years\’ PQE solicitor to join a leading London-based Medical Negligence team renowned for its expertise in complex, high-value claims. This highly respected team is known for acting exclusively on behalf of claimants in life-changing cases, with a strong focus on matters involving brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and birth injuries, among others.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative and specialist team working at the forefront of clinical negligence litigation. The work is challenging, varied, and rewarding-offering the chance to contribute to some of the most significant and sensitive cases in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting senior lawyers on complex, high-value clinical negligence claims
  • Managing a small caseload under supervision, with increasing responsibility over time
  • Drafting legal documents, letters of instruction, witness statements, and schedules of loss
  • Liaising with medical experts, counsel, and other third parties
  • Attending client meetings and case conferences
  • Conducting legal research and staying current with relevant case law and procedural developments

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) in England & Wales
  • Strong academic background and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable commitment to claimant medical negligence work
  • A keen interest in high-value, catastrophic injury litigation
  • Empathy, sensitivity, and a client-focused approach
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
