An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a dynamic, friendly, and highly supportive Private Client team within a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm. This is a fantastic role based primarily in the firm's newly refurbished Wimbledon office, with occasional attendance required at the Epsom office (which benefits from ample parking). The team handles a high-quality, varied, and often complex caseload, including international elements.

The Role

  • You will take full responsibility for your own Private Client caseload, advising high-net-worth and complex clients on a broad range of matters.
  • The work is technical, varied, and intellectually stimulating, with exposure to both domestic and international estates.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
    • Managing a full caseload of wills, probate, and estate administration matters
    • Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work
    • Handling trusts and complex estate planning matters
    • Managing matters with international and cross-border elements
    • Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
    • Working collaboratively within a supportive and experienced team

About You

  • The successful candidate will have:
    • Minimum 8 years' PQE in Private Client law
    • Strong experience across wills, probate, LPAs, trusts, and Court of Protection
    • Proven ability to manage a complex caseload independently
    • Excellent client care and relationship-building skills
    • Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills
    • STEP membership (desirable), with support available for qualification if required
    • A proactive, professional, and team-focused approach

Part-time candidates (3+ days per week) will be considered. There is also genuine long-term partnership potential for the right individual.
