I am currently working with a Legal 500-ranked Central London law firm that is looking to recruit a Solicitor or Associate Solicitor to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing litigation practice with a strong pipeline of high-quality work. The team advises on a broad range of contentious matters, with property litigation making up approximately two-thirds of the caseload, alongside commercial litigation, insolvency, contractual disputes and wider work.

Working closely with experienced Partners, you will gain exposure to complex and varied matters while developing your own practice. The firm offers genuine responsibility from the outset, excellent mentoring and the opportunity to shape your career in line with your interests. Applications are welcomed from solicitors with NQ to 4 years' PQE, as well as trainees due to qualify in October 2026, provided you have gained relevant litigation experience during your training contract.

The Role

  • Manage your own varied litigation caseload.
  • Work on a broad mix of property, commercial and insolvency disputes.
  • Assist Partners on complex and high-value litigation matters.
  • Develop expertise within a mixed chancery practice.
  • Conduct advocacy where appropriate and instruct Counsel.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships from the outset.
  • Supervise Trainees and Paralegals where appropriate.
  • Contribute to business development and help grow the department.
  • Prepare legal updates and contribute to knowledge sharing across the firm.
  • Support departmental initiatives, workflow management and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with between NQ and 4 years' PQE.
  • Experience managing litigation matters.
  • Property litigation experience is advantageous, although candidates with broader commercial litigation experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • A commercial, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team.
