An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Real Estate Solicitor (2-7 PQE) to join a highly regarded Southern Real Estate team based in Brighton. This role offers the chance to work within a market-leading national practice, supporting high-quality, complex real estate matters for an impressive client base.
The Opportunity
You will join a well-established and collaborative Real Estate team, working closely with an experienced Partner known for expertise across real estate investment, finance, restructuring, and insolvency. The team advises on a wide range of commercial property transactions and is recognised for delivering pragmatic, commercially focused solutions.
Your work will include supporting on a broad spectrum of matters such as acquisitions and disposals, development projects, landlord and tenant work, real estate finance, restructuring and insolvency-related property issues, enforcement of security, and corporate support. Alongside assisting on larger, multi-faceted transactions, you will also take responsibility for running your own smaller matters as part of wider portfolio work.
You can expect regular client contact and will be encouraged to provide commercial insight alongside technical legal advice. The role offers genuine involvement in team strategy, collaboration across offices, and participation in business development initiatives to help grow the wider Real Estate practice.
About You
The successful candidate will be:
- A qualified solicitor with 2-7 years' PQE in Commercial Real Estate
- Experienced in handling a range of commercial property matters, including investment, finance, and development work
- Comfortable working on multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Confident dealing directly with clients and intermediaries, offering practical and commercial advice
- A proactive self-starter who enjoys working collaboratively within a team environment
- Interested in contributing to business development and strengthening client relationships
