This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic legal team delivering high-quality services to a range of public sector clients including local authorities, educational institutions, and external organisations.

In this role, you will take the lead on a varied caseload of employment law matters—from complex advisory work to Tribunal litigation—and play a key part in the strategic support of clients on issues such as TUPE, employee relations, and governance. You will also contribute to advocacy efforts, training delivery, and wider cross-team collaboration.

What you will be doing:

  • Preparing and presenting cases at multi-day Employment Tribunal hearings
  • Advising clients on a full spectrum of employment law issues
  • Managing your own caseload with some supervision
  • Conducting legal research and sharing insights across the team
  • Supporting colleagues across the business with employment law matters
  • Delivering training to HR professionals and client teams
  • Contributing to quality assurance and compliance processes

What we are looking for:

  • A qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Proven experience in employment law, ideally with some advocacy background
  • Knowledge of TUPE, employee relations, and public sector employment frameworks
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, client-focused approach
  • Willingness to support cross-disciplinary areas such as education, pensions (LGPS), and data protection

What is on offer:

  • Fully remote working
  • 30 days' annual leave plus Bank Holidays and an additional discretionary day at Christmas
  • Generous pension scheme (up to 7.5% employer contribution)
  • Company-paid practising certificate
  • Life insurance (4x salary)
  • Professional development and training support
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Access to national and local discount schemes
