A highly regarded and Legal 500-ranked firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its specialist Tax & Estate Planning team in Southampton.
The Role
- Manage a varied and high-quality caseload across all aspects of Tax & Estate Planning, including:
- Estate and trust administration
- Drafting and updating wills
- Variations of wills
- Preparation and registration of LPAs
- Advising on inheritance tax and capital gains tax matters
- Drafting trusts and trust documentation
- Succession and estate planning for private clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to business development and networking activities
- Play a key role in the continued growth of the department
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with ideally 3-5 PQE
- Strong experience across tax, trusts and estate planning matters
- Excellent technical drafting skills
- Good understanding of inheritance tax, CGT and trust law
- STEP qualified (or working towards) preferred
- Commercially minded with strong client care skills
- Confident supervising or mentoring junior colleagues
