A Legal 500-ranked regional firm is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate Residential Property Fee Earner (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive) to join its growing team in Basingstoke. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and well-supported Residential Property department with a strong reputation in the local market, handling a broad range of conveyancing matters for a loyal and expanding client base.

The Role

  • Manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion and post-completion, including:
    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
    • Remortgages
    • Transfers of equity
    • New build transactions
    • Shared ownership matters
  • Liaise closely with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
  • Ensure transactions progress efficiently and smoothly
  • Maintain high standards of client care and technical accuracy
  • Work collaboratively with fee earners and support staff across the department
  • Handle more complex matters depending on experience level

There will also be greater autonomy, increased client exposure and scope to support the wider growth and development of the team.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive
  • Minimum 2 years' PQE in Residential Property
  • Confident managing a full conveyancing caseload independently
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Organised and proactive with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable working within a busy, collaborative team environment
  • Commercially aware with a pragmatic approach to transactions
