A well-established and highly regarded Oxfordshire law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its thriving property team at its Didcot office. This multi-disciplinary practice has built a strong reputation for quality service and client care across Oxfordshire. Its Residential Property department is spread across several offices, with a central completions team to support fee earners from exchange through to archive. The successful candidate will be expected to handle a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters independently, with strong in-house administrative and peer support. Reporting to the Head of Residential Property, the role offers autonomy and the chance to contribute to business development initiatives, particularly within the local community.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a broad caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion
- Meet with clients, take instructions, and provide accurate legal advice
- Draft all necessary documentation and maintain up-to-date paper and electronic files
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory obligations
- Participate in local networking and marketing efforts to help grow the client base
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental targets
- Maintain accurate records for continued competence and compliance
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Ideally 4+ years PQE (guidance only; those with less or more experience are also encouraged to apply)
- Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing within a busy high street or regional practice
- Confident communicator with excellent client care skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and professional in approach
