Day Shift – Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3:00pm, 20-minute paid lunch, OT worked on Friday
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: This position assists the Warranty Manager in managing a Quality In-process and Final Inspection/Testing program. The employee will lead internal rework investigations, support the Operations team with product quality and process improvements, and ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics are met.
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Develop and update quality check sheets, publish results, and coordinate actions with relevant teams.
- Participate in the SWAT process, update management on quality tasks, and document findings into the CAPA database.
- Apply quality tools and troubleshooting strategies to resolve issues.
- Implement and monitor process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Conduct on-site audits, final acceptance inspections, and in-process inspections.
- Train and develop team skills, and collaborate with customers and suppliers on quality issues.
- Develop and update metrics to meet goals.
- Establish communication channels between Henderson and customers.
- Oversee Quality integration into project management and ensure proper documentation of CAPAs and ECRs.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Test products at various production stages for quality indicators.
- Create and update SOPs for quality procedures.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:
Communication Skills: Comfortable interacting at all levels, including presenting in group settings.
Computer Skills: Basic Windows and MS Office; proficiency in Excel, CAD, CMM is a plus.
Education: Knowledge of quality systems, MIG welding, fabrication, Lean, GD&T, and SPC fundamentals.
Experience: 5+ years in Quality Control/Assurance; 3+ years in welding industry preferred.
Internal Qualifications: Ability to implement programs using project tools, positive attitude, solution-oriented mindset.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations, interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Mechanical aptitude, decision-making confidence, detail-oriented, flexible, leadership skills.
Technical Skills: Ability to read engineering prints, experience with fixtures, machine tools, fabrication equipment.
