HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

  • As an IT Infrastructure Intern, you will work closely with the IT department to assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, deployments, monitoring, and optimization of our IT systems and infrastructure.
  • This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in IT operations, network administration, hardware management, and other key areas of IT infrastructure.
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure systems (laptops, desktops, workstations, tablets, printers, etc.)
  • Support the installation and configuration of software and hardware components
  • Help monitor system performance and perform basic diagnostics to ensure optimal operation
  • Help maintain and update documentation related to IT systems, processes, and infrastructure projects
  • Assist in troubleshooting IT-related issues for staff and end-users
  • Work on assigned projects to improve IT infrastructure efficiency, security, or scalability
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff on routine maintenance, upgrades, and system updates
  • Provide technical support and assistance to team members as needed

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, networking, and hardware components
  • Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows)
  • Some knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
