HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: As a Business Unit Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives are met within your assigned manufacturing area. You will lead a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to achieve production targets while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. The BU Supervisor works closely with the Manufacturing Plant Manager and other stakeholders to implement best practices, drive continuous improvement, and optimize processes.
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees.
- Support Near Miss and Injury Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) along with enforcing PPE and Safety Policies.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
- Lead RCCA for quality issues in assigned manufacturing area with support from Manufacturing Lead and Quality Technicians.
- Coordinate production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing costs, focused on Weekly results.
- Monitor key performance indicators (MDI’s) related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Support training and development of production staff to enhance skills and capabilities related to safety, quality, and productivity.
- Identify and address production issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain workflow.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by implementing process enhancements and participating in problem-solving activities.
- Support Manufacturing Manager in hiring, training, and performance management of SFA’s.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities, quality inspections, and safety incidents.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS: High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities. Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
