Based in the popular Fife coastal town of Dalgety Bay, Henderson House Care Home provides exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite Care for up to 60 residents. Our home is known for its warm atmosphere and high standards of comfort, safety and wellbeing. We are now looking for a dedicated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure our home remains a clean, welcoming and well-maintained environment for all who live and work here.
What We Offer
- £13.50 per hour
- Contracted to 40 hours per week (over 5 days)
- Pension scheme, Paid PVG, Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
Your Role
As Head Housekeeper, you will oversee all housekeeping operations within the home, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained. You will supervise and support your team, schedule daily tasks, manage inventories and uphold all safety and sanitation procedures. Your role will include conducting regular quality checks, responding to any housekeeping concerns, and working closely with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the home. You will maintain accurate records, manage the housekeeping budget and attend meetings as required.
