A look into the role: As a key member of our Warehouse Operations team, you will support the smooth, safe and efficient flow of goods throughout our site. This is a varied and hands-on role where successful candidates will be expected to become multi-skilled across several operational areas including replenishment, loading and general warehouse duties, helping to maintain high operational standards across the warehouse operation.

In this role, you will support putaway and replenishment activities using warehouse equipment and forklift trucks where appropriately trained, ensuring picking locations remain fully stocked to support the wider operation. You will also be involved in supporting loading operations, including marshalling cages, assisting with loading and unloading vehicles, managing returns, shrink-wrapping pallets and helping to maintain a safe, organised loading area at all times. General duties may also include supporting cycle counts, quality checks, housekeeping activities and working closely with System Administrators, Team Leaders and wider warehouse colleagues to maintain excellent operational, food safety and health & safety standards.

This role requires a strong work ethic, flexibility, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team environment where no two shifts are the same. This is a hands-on role where teamwork, attention to detail and a strong commitment to health, safety and food safety procedures are essential. No two days are the same, and you will play an important part in helping us deliver excellent service to our customers.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience (at least 6 months) of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Experience of warehouse management systems
  • A valid Reach Forklift licence
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • A positive, team-focused approach to work

Applicants must be aged 18 or over for this role to comply with legislation relating to nightshift working. It is desirable if you have:

  • A valid counterbalance forklift and/or stand on licence.
  • Experience of working in a variety of temperature-controlled environments
  • Manual handling trained

Hours of Work: We have a permanent full-time opportunity available, working 4 x 10 hour shifts, any 4 nights between Sunday to Friday, shift pattern will be discussed during the interview stage.
